It is a unique and wholesome paratha made with the stuffing of paneer , spinach , cheese, green chilly and spices.
Palak Paneer Cheese Paratha is a worth giving a try recipe. Palak paneer Cheese Paratha is a complete meal in itself . It is specially made for the kids as they would love to eat and mothers would be satisfied that children have eaten calcium rich palak or spinach along with paneer and cheese. Stuffed Parathas are super delicious than plain parathas so try this healthy paratha.

Makes – 6 parathas
- 1 cup spinach or palak finely chopped
- 3/4 cup paneer grated
- 1/2 cup cheese grated
- 1 medium size potato grated
- 3/4 tsp ginger paste
- 3/4 tsp garlic paste (opt )
- 1 tsp green chilly fine chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 1/4 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 cup maida
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- Oil for roasting paratha
Wash the spinach Leaves 3 hours before using nicely in fresh water and strain out the water nicely.
Then spread the palak leaves on a dry cloth so that all the moisture in the leaves are absorbed.
Then fine chop the palak leaves nicely and keep aside.
Grate the paneer through a grater and keep aside.
Steam the potato for 10 minutes and allow to cool down, then grate the potato and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a non stick pan and add in cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
Then add in palak and stir nicely for a minute or till it becomes soft.
Put in green chilly , ginger and garlic paste and mix nicely.
Then add in grated paneer and mix once nicely .
Then add in grated potato and mix nicely once adding salt and garam masala .
Switch off the stove and combine the lemon juice nicely and stir carefully using spatula till it is hot.
When the filling becomes warm add in cheese grated and mix nicely.
Allow the filling to cool down completely.
Mix wheat flour , maida and salt nicely in a wide container.
Then add in oil and give a nice mix.
Put in water gradually and prepare the dough like regular roti or chapathi.
Rest the dough in air tight box for 30 minutes.
Then divide the dough into twelve equal round and keep aside.
Roll each round to small roti using rolling pin , dusting with wheat flour.
Then spread the stuffing on the rolled roti and cover that roti with another rolled roti and press the corners of both the rotis carefully ,
Then pass the rolling oin on the roti carefully and roll to paratha dusting with wheat flour.
Heat the tawa on medium flame and place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa and roast.
Roast the paratha till small brown spots appear on the paratha.
Roast other side of the paratha also by flipping other side also.
Lastly drizzle sufficient oil all around the paratha and roast nicely.
Serve the hot and cheesy Palak Paneer Cheese Paratha with curds and pickle.
- Palak naturally contains salt , so add the salt carefully.
- You may increase or decrease the green chilly as per your taste in the filling.
- Do not over cook the potato.
- You may use this filling for preparing the sandwich also.
